Portrait of a young lady in Renaissance clothing was created by famous Viennese painter of Historicism epoch Anton Ebert (1845 Mies, Bohemia - 1896 Vienna). The artist was a very renowned genre and portrait painter, who worked in Vienna in the 2nd half of the 19th century. He studied at the Prague Academy and at the Vienna Academy in the class of the famous F. Waldmüller. This portrait was painted by the artist under influence of his contemorary and founder of Viennese style Historicism Hans Makart (1840 - 1884).

Inscription: signed lower right, on the back pf canvas there is a inscription in Italian with the name of the depicted person in Italian: "Sinorita Escozura 1882".
