Early romantical painting with two Neapolitan women playing with baby was created in 1848 by well-known Danish artist Frederik Ludvig Storch (1805 Kjerte - 1883 Kopenhagen). This painting came from the former collection of The Royal Danish Academy of Art in the Art Hall Charlottenborg, Kopenhagen and was purcahsed on 2005 in the sale of German auction house Bodensee. On the backside of the stretcher there are old label and original inscription with ith info about this work and previous owner (in German and Danish).Frederik Ludwig Storch was a pupil of the Royal Art Academy in Kopenhagen, the artist worked in Dresden (1832-1836), in Munich (1834-36 and 1845-1851) and in Rome(1844-1845). His works are in the important European private collections and museums of Munich , Kopenhagen, Frederiksborg .
