Large alpine lanscape with waterfall created in 1850-s by renown german lanscape painter Albert (August Albert) Zimmermann (1808 Zittau - 1888 Munich). The artist is high-listed in international literature and price date banks.
Zimmermann was a student at the Art Academies in Munich and Dresden. Austrian gouvernment sent him in 1857 as professor to Academy in Milan , where he worked untill 1859.In 1860/1871 he waorked in Vienna at the Academy . in early 1880-s he moved to Salzburg and since 1885 to Munich.
His works are in the different private collections around of the world and public museums of Germany and Austria.
