Very decorative still life with wild flowers created in the second half of 19 century and signed L.Andre. Due to the fully identical style was attributed to the hand of renown French still life and genre artist Eugene Henri Cauchois (1850 Rouen - 1911 Paris). As known, for commercial reason this artist signed often with pseudonyms (source: artprice.com) Cauchois was the student of Duboc, Cabanel and Quost, exhibited his flower and genre works since 1874 in the Salon and awarded with different impotrant prizes. His works situated in the many museums in France and around the world.(Rouen, Louviers, Rio de Janeiro, Chatellerault, Perpignan).
