This fine portrait miniature signed with indistinctly monogram and have all stylistic criteria including provenance (Triest private estate) to be attributed to the Italian school around 1805-1810.

Inscription: signed with indistinctly monogram, lower right.

Technique: gouache on ivory, original period frame, fire-gilded bronze inside oval frame.

Measurements: image w 2" x h 2 3/8" (5 x 6 cm), framed w 4 " x h 4 3/8" (10,2 x 11,2 cm).

Condition: miniature is in very good condition, original framing has a few paint delaminations at the inner circumference.
