High quality genre scene in the park was executed by prominent and high quoted Austrian painter and illustrator Franz Xaver Simm (1853 Vienna - 1918 Munich). The son of a family of painters studied from 1869 to 1876 at the Vienna Academy of fine arts under Eduard von Engerth and Anselm Feuerbach. He received a two-year travel grant in 1876 to Rome, and remained until 1881, Italy. There, he married Marie Mayer, also a painter. Together they then went to Tbilisi/Georgia, there to run murals in the Caucasus Museum. Later, he lived in Munich, where he accepted a professorship.Simm worked mainly as an Illustrator. Later, he created increasingly small genre pictures in the Empire style. This small genre works arrive high results by international auctions to 70000 Euro.
