Nostalgic still life with flowers in a Japanese vase, fruits, antique folio, newspapers and antiques was executed in 1893 by German historical, decoration , art and craft artist and restorer Joseph Langer (1865 Münstetberg - 1918 Wroclaw/Silesia). 4 years studied decoration painting, 3 years at the Att &Kraft school Breslau(Wroclaw) under Schobelt and H.Irmann. 10 years self-employed mostly on decorative area; orders for palaces, villas, churches, even facade paintings. Study tours: Italy, Tunis, Belgium, Sweden. Since 1894 teacher at the art school Breslau. Made also windows and altarpieces, city and oriental scenes, still lifes, portraits.
