Masterful military painting : portrait of Lieutenant of 8th King hussar regiment Johann Franz Michael Riegeler ( 1811-1851 Cologne) on the horseback. Painting was created in 1840 by famous german-english military and genre painter and lithographer Henry J.F. Fleuss , born 1800. He worked since 1830 in Frankfurt on Main. In 1847-1874 his paintings were represented in Royal Academy in London.
