Large and very professionally genre painting with a beautiful peasant girl, collecting flowers, it was created in 1870 by good listed Czech painter Johann Brandeis (1813 Týniste nad Orlici/Bohemia - 1872 Praque ). Stud.: 1837 Fine Art Academy in Praque by Franz Kadlik; painting class by Josef Bernhardt in Munich; 1853/54 by Thomas Couture in Paris. Study travels to Germany, Holland and Belgium. Member in 1843/1844 of Munich Art Union. At first worked as porcelain painter, at the same time created watercolour portraits for noble society. In 1861 opened a photo workshop in Praque. Since 1860s worked in Vienna and Praque as contract painter ( genre paintings with nymphs, portrait of Count Thun-Hohenstein, 1871). In the last years was devoted to the genre painting (Girl with dove, 1872).
