Nicht romanticism scene with mother and child praying on the old Ponte Vecchio in Florence , it was executed in 1832 by good-listed Austrian landscape and animal painter Joseph Johann Rauch (1805 - 1866). He was born in Vienna, his other two bruders Ferdinand and Johann Nepomuk were famous painters too. Joseph Rauch studied at the Viennese Fine Art Academy, where his paintings were represanted on exhibitions from 1826 to 1850.
