Belle Epoque still life with strawberries and wild flowers was executed by high quoted French painter Leon-Marie Benoit, who was born in Bains-les-Bainas before 1891, died in Lyon after 1907. The artist studied by Pierre Etienne Remillieux, painted landscapes and still lifes. He recieved in 1907 the Med. 2. Cl. for Saint Sorbin en Bugey and La Mare. Exhibitions: since 1891 Salon of Lyon. His flower still life arrive enough high results by international art auctions (f.ex.Christies, London, on 2.12.2004). For comparison see additional photos.
