Study of a dog was executed ca. in 1840 by the represantative of Austrian Biedermeier School in the manner very similar to animalistic sketches of famous Viennese painter Friedrich Gauermann (1807 - 1862).

Inscription: unsigned
Material: oil on paper, laid down on cardboard, original period frame.
Measurements: 5 3/4" x 4 3/4" (14,5 x 12 cm), framed 12 1/4" x 11 1/4" (31 x 28,5 cm).
