Busy street scene before St.Marko Place in Venice , created in 1890-1900 by famous austrian genre and landscape painter Anton Nowak (1865 Marburg - 1932 Vienna ). Pupil of Vienna Academy under Chr. Griepenkerl and Leopold Carl Mueller, he was influenced from one of the most renown austrian impressionist artist Theodor von Hörmann . Nowak was long time director of art school in Bruenn. In 1897 he was one of the founders of Vienna Seccesion , till his death - Member of this Union and in 1908/1909 it´s President. Since 1894 - member of " Künstlerhaus" also.
