Masterfully familiy minature was executed in 1821 by Austrian portrait and miniature artist Carl Mainelli ( 1779. - Vienna -1838). He exhibited his works at the exhibitions of St.Anna Academy in Vienna since 1820. After 1830 painted preferably oil portraits.

Inscription: signed on the stone lower middle, on the back- original German inscription with names of sitters.

Technique: gouache on ivory, old frame.

Measurements: unframed 6 3/4´´ x 5´´ (17 x 12,5 cm), framed 11´´ x 9´´ (28 x 23 cm).

Condition: quite good, profess.restored crack upper middle.
