Landscape with resting Russian cossacks was executed ca. in 1820s and due to style and subject was attributed to Russian painter and illustrator Alexandr Osipovich Orlovsky (1777-1832), who recieved acknowledge among other for his paintings with cossacks before and after Naploleonic wars.

Technique: oil on canvas, luxuriousy original period gold-plated frame.
Measurements: unframed w 10 2/3" x h 7 1/2" (38 x 44,5 cm); framed w 12 3/4 x h 9 6/8" (63,5 x 70 cm)
