Still life with roses in a basket was executed in the end of 19th century by listed and high quoted French landscape, flower and nude painter Albert F. A. Laurens ( 1870 - 1934). The represantative of famous art school Ecole Lyonaise , studied by Bonnat in Paris, where exhibited at the exhibitions of the Salon des Artistes Francais. A few his works arrived 15.000 - 18000 € by auctions in Paris and London.
