Rare old view of the famous Charles Bridge over the river Vltava in Praque was executed in 1870s by British good listed architecture painter and etcher Victoria Susanna Colkett ( in marriage Hine ) . She was the dauther of the painter Samuel David Colkett, she was born in Norwich in 1840,died in 1926, exhibited in 1859-1866 her 9 castle and cathedral views at the exhibition of the British Istitute; in 1870 - at the Royal Academy . 1874 she married the painter Harry Hine. 1887-1898 member of the Soc. of Painter Etchers,she exhibited by their exhibitions until 1890. She created smaller series of views of Oxford, Cambridge, Norwich, Liverpool and Edinburgh , which were published in London by W.S.Mansell.

Technique: watercolour on paper, under glass, protected by it´s original wood back. Original period gold-plated wood matt and salon frame.
