Lovely post-impressionistic nude painting was executed ca. in 1930-1940s by listed French nude painter, the represantative of renowed School of Paris (Ecole de Paris) Césare Vilot . Cesar Vilot, born in 1900, was a French artist of the human body. Vilot, also referenced as Vilol, painted nudes, but was particularly known for his beautiful ballerina paintings, capturing the unique essence of the dancer’s beauty in movement. He had an intuitive ability to portray the female form exemplified and expanded in the stylistic grace of the ballerina in dance.
