Similar flower miniatures can be find in the famous Tansey collection of miniatures as wll as by important miniatures auctions by Christies and Sothebys. Estimates and sold results for his flower and fruit still lifes arrive by auctions high results (until 150 000 USD). Pol was commited to still life painting (like his teacher van Dael) and painted his still lifes in the form of miniatures, using gouache colours or the fixé technique. Since 1782, he was mainly employed in Paris.
