French still life with peaches and ribes was executed by good listed still life and flower painter Victor Leclaire (1830 - Paris - 1885). Brother of L.Lecclaire, he was his pupil. he won medalls at the Salon de Paris in 1879 and 1881. His fruit and flower works arrive high estimates by international auctionshouses (22000 € for "Bouquet de fleurs aux tentures" in auction by Claude Aguttes, Paris , December 21, 2007 ).His workes situated in museums: Paris (ancient museum of Luxembourg), Reims, Tourcoing.
