Monumental landscape painting of high quality with hunters at the waterfall in the Alps. It was executed by famous Austrian landscape artist Josef Thoma (1828 Vienna - 1899 Vienna), who studied at the Vienna Academy and became a very well-known Austrian landscape painter with motifs especially from the Alpine regions. Works by him belong to the collections of the greatest Austrian museums and various public collections abroad.
