Masterfully Biedermeier painting with a beauty reading on the veranda was executed ca. 1830s and due to the style, composition and quality is very close to the works by prominent Austrian painter Anton Einsle (1801 - Vienna - 1871). It is known, that Einsle used his daudhter as model for his some portraits of young girls; one of them is represanted in the important monography by F. Boetticher. Our painting has similarities with other two portraits of girls on our web-site (see item No.170 and No. 1027 ) and with high probability it can be argued that all these portraits depict the artist´s daughter also .For comparison see additional photos of few famous paintings by A.Einsle including our works ( item No. 170 and 1027). Anton Einsle (1801 - Vienna - 1871 ) was a very significant Austrian portrait painter of the middle of 19th century and one of the best representant of biedermeier era. At the age of 13 he began studying at the Vienna Academy and painted his first works on commission at 16. His first portraits in oil and miniatures are known to appear in 1827. His works were represented at all great exhibitions in Vienna from 1830 on. Einsle worked in Prague and Budapest for a few years. He soon became a favourite portrait painter of high aristocracy and royals and was an official portraitist of Imperor Franz Josef I. Einsle received the title of Royal Painter in 1838. Works by Einsle are represented in many museums in Austria and abroad, also in private collections, for example, by Gianni Versace .Works by Einsle arrive at auctions today five-figure euro amounts.
