Classicistic scene in the Roman Campagna : beautiful women and children , adorning with flower girlands an ancient monument. This fine work was executed in 1848 by listed French classicistic landscape painter Pierre Antoine Marchais (1763 - 1859 Paris). Exhibited at the Salon de Paris in 1793 -1849. His landscapes in classical manner arrive high estimates by international auctions (until 20000 Euro).
