Masterfully romantical watercolour with Roman girl on the foreground and pilgrims with aqueduckt on the background, It was executed by the represantative of German Biedermeier School and has came from the estate of Berthold Schenk, Count von Stauffenberg (castle Jettingen). The watercolour was purchased under other works on "Century" auction by Sothebys " From German castles", hold on 9-14 october 2000 in the castle Monrepos by Stuttgart. (Lot No. 1128 ).
