High qualitative genre salon scene with flirting couple was created 1872 by listed French genre painter Felix Augustin Milius (1843 Marseille - 1894). The artist studied by Hyppolite Flandrin, Charles Gleyre and Edmond Hedouin. He exhibited his works in Salon de Paris since 1869. He engraved after Norbert of Goeneutte and Fromentin.
