Large portrait miniature on ivory of a young beautiful lady with a park landscape on the background was executed ca. 1840 by listed Spanish miniaturist Juan de Parada, who was active in Madrid in 1840-1850s.

Technique: gouache on ivory. Original period gold-plated frame.

Measurements: unframed 3 1/2" x 41/4 " (8,8 x 10,7cm), framed w 7 1/2" x h 7 7/8 " (19 x 20 cm)

Condition: overall in the good condition, ivory is slightly wavy, vertical crack in the upper left corner (see photo).
