A pair of porcelain vases with removable lids, dark blue cobalt background, rich decorated with oriignal gold ornaments and hand painted miniature paintings of antique genre scenes. This historistical work was executed in the end of 19th century in Bohemia in the style of Viennese manufacture Altwien.

Inscription: apocryphal mark of Altwien on the reverse of vase base.

Technique: porcelain, cobalt, gold.

Measurements: h 19 3/4" (50 cm).

Condition: in very good condition.
