Monumental Belle Epoque genre scene with high society was executed in museum quality by well renowed Munich genre and portrait painter Leopold Schmutzler (1864 Mies/Bohemia - 1940 Munich). Pupil of Viennese Academy under Griepenkerl, Eisenmenger and C.L.Mueller and Munich Academy under O.Seitz. He worked in Rome, Paris, New York, Munich. His works situated in the National gallery in Budapest, City gallery in Nuernberg and in the City halls of Augsburg and Fuerth. So large genre scene by this artist are quite rare on the international market.
