Large Belle Epoque genre scene with a beauty preparing tea that was executed by the highly listed German painter Karl Gampenrieder (1860 Munich - 1930). The artist studied at the Academy in Munich under Lindenschmit for genre painting. Later he came to Paris, where he studied at the academy Julian by Bougureau and T.Robert Fleury. He returned to Munich and made acknowledge with the portrait of princess Elvira von Bayern (1885). Since then, he moved to Munich and worked as a genre and portrait painter. Exhibitions: Berlin Acadeemy 1896; Great Berlin Exhibition 1891, 1894; Munich Glaspalast, 1891 - 1919.
