Masterfully portrait of a happy beer drinker came from the same Munich private collection as item No. 2749 - 2756 and was executed by good listed Munich genre and portrait painter Ludwig Kohrl (1858 Graz/Austria- 1927 Munich). Pupil of Academy in Graz under Schwach, worked in Hungary, Siebbenburgen, Graz and Munich, where he finaly settled. In 1885 he exhiited at the first time at the Viennese art union "Kuenstlerhaus" and since 1889 - at the famous Glaspalast in Munich. He was popular among collectors with his small folk genre and portrait works.
