Fine Biedermeier watercolour portrait of a noble child was executed in 1847 by well renowed Munich portrait , miniature and genre painter Ernst Wilhelm Rietschel (1824 Giessmannsdorf - 1860 Munich). The artist studied at the Dresden Art Academy , worked in Munich, Jassy 81851-1853), Athens (1853-54), Alexandria and Cairo (1854-55), in Rome (1855-57).Portrait of King Ludwig II by Rietschel situated in the Castle Herrenchiemsee, in the estate of Great herzog of Hessen - portrait of King Otto von Greece, alot of waterclours - in the collection the City Museum of Munich.
