Very decorative, lovely painting depicting two cupids with a floral garland was executed by famous Czech genre painter Professor Bedrich Wachsmann (1871-1944). He studied at the Prague Academy under Zenisek and later in Munich and Dresden. The artist was popular for his genre, still life and figural paintings as well as for large decorations. Wachsmann designed the interior of Czech Bank in Prague. He frequently exhibited in Prague in the 1930/40s.
