Hand-coloured cooper etching with antique topographical map of European part of Russia ( original title : " Russia Alba sive Moscovia, regio valde extensa.."), created ca. in 1696-1700 by two famous Dutch kartogrraphs Gerard Valck/Valk (1651 - 1726) and his son Leonard Valck (1675 -1755) and published in London, where father and son worked together and created great map works . The map shows under others from the north : Lake Ladoga, Lake Onega and the White Sea; Podolia and Saratow on the south to theTartaria on the east ; quite detailed central part: Moscow, Vjatka, Belgorod, Perm and others.Map has pleasant general age toning. upper and down margins have some repairs.
