Portrait of a noble child, sitting by the drawing study, created in 1844 by brilliant representative of Vienna portrait art in the middle of 19 century Josef Weidner (1801 - Vienna - 1870). Since 1815 he studied at the Vienna Academy. His art was developed under the influence of Friedrich Amerling, Carl Rahl and his brother-in-law Ferdinand Georg Waldmueller. From 1826 to 1847 Weidner exibited his works by Academy Exibition of St. Anna and in 1857 - 1868 - by Exibition of austrian art union and in 1836 in the Berlin Academy. His works represent in museums of Brno, Klausenberg, "Belvedere" in Vienna.
