This masterful empire portrait of a beautiful lady with a lyre was executed approx. in 1800-1810s and due to its style, time of creation and comparison with other works by the same painter was attributed to the workshop of the well renowned French Empire portrait and historical painter Robert Jaques Francois Faus Lefevre ( 1755 Bayeux - 1830 Paris).
