Genre portrait of a wine expert created in Munich by high listed Austrian genre painter and illustrator professor Adolf Reich ( 1887 Vienna - 1963 Salzburg). He studied at the Vienna Art Academy , later worked as stage painter in the Volkstheater in Vienna and as Illustator in the "Illustrierte Zeitung " in Lepzig in Vienna ( in the time of WW1). In the 1930-s he moved to Munich and after 1946 lived in Salzburg.His most popular paintings were genre subjects and he was called as " Austrian Spitzweg). His works can be find in the international collections and museums , for example Lichtenstein Museum in Vienna.
