Still life painting with plums and red currants was executed ca. in 1890s by famous French animal and still life painter Alfred Arthur Brunel de Neuville (1852 - Paris - 1941). The artist recieved his acnowledge for cat genre paintings and still lifes , worked in Paris, where begun to exhibit since 1879. He became member of societé des Artistes Français in 1907. His works are in following collections: Louviers, Beziers, Brest and Chateau-Thierry.
