Extreme rare military scene , dated 1826 depicting episode from the Russian-Napoleonic Wars 1812-1814 : Russian cossack on horse saves a wounded officer during skirmish again French troop. The author of this work German military and hunting painter Julius Carl Schulz took part in this campaigns, studied at the Art Academy in Berlin, where in 1820-1840s created his genre military scenes of Russian and Prussian armies during Napoleonic wars. His battle paintings are extreme rare on the art market and arrived high results.
