A pair of masterfully and lovely watercolours from the middle of 19th century were executed by famous Viennese Biedermeier painter and illustrator Anton Zampis (1820 - 1883). He was a well-known Viennese genre painter as well as a lithograph and graphic artist. He became a member of the artist`s union Vienna "Kuenstlerhaus" in 1861.
