Masterfully early 19th century portrait miniature on ivory of a young gentleman was executed in 1821 , signed Lexner (artist´s dates - unknown) in original wood frame and gilt bronze mount.

Inscription: signed and dated on the reverse of ivory; photo copy of signaure attached to the backside of cover.

Technique: gouache on ivory .Original period gilt bronze mount and wood frame.

Measurements: unframed w 2 " x 2 1/2" (5,2 x 6,4 cm); framed 5 1/4 " x 5 3/4 " (13,3 x 14,6 cm)

Condition: in quite good condition.
