Rare early 19th century family portrait miniature was executed in 1822 and depicting family scene in house of General -lieutenant Carl Eugen Freiherr von Imhoff-Hohenstein . Due to the "Historical and genealogical book of nobility of the Kingdom of Wuerttemberg", V.I, from the nobile family Imhoff come a number of excellent and meritorious statesmen and warriors, including main sitter on the miniature: General -lieutenant, later General-major to Stuttgart Carl Eugen Freiherr von imhoff-Hohenstein (born 1778), who was awarded with Honor Gold Medal for the battle by Paris again Napoleon. Also in the above book were described members of General's family , which fully coincides with the original memory inscription on the back of miniature's cover. In accordance with it, the author depicts the following family members: in the center - father Carl Eugen in the General uniform, on the left from him - his wife Louise Freifrau von Imhoff (1789-1856), born Freiin von Linden, on the left - her younger dauther Fanny , in future Freifrau Fanny von Gaisberg-Helfenberg (1813 - 1887) and on the right of father -elder dauther Eugenia (1812 - 1889), futured Freifrau Eugenia Moltka. The last image on the right - the author of miniature himself Carl Freiherr von Imhoff (1765-1843), the brother of the General.
