High quality pair of Biedermeier family portrait miniatures (depicting due to the description on the labels are portraits of Josef and Antonia Eder) in oustandig original gold-plated frames. This two portraits were executed ca. 1840 by important Czech miniaturist Josef Zumsande (1806 Neuhaus / South Moravia - 1865 Neuhaus). He studied at the praque Academy from 1821 to 1824, since 1825 - at the Academy in Vienna, where he lived until 1840. In 1842 -1845 he worked in Praque, from 1845 to 1858 - in Vienna again . He was a popular and very skillful miniature painter ,many portraits by him exists in Czech and Austrian museums and private property .
