Romantical scene with love couple - young sheperd and sheperdess, motive came from German fairy tales and legends . The painting was executed in 1868 by listed austrian historical and genre painter Georg Kugler, who was popular with his fairy tale motives from German history. he studied at the viennese academy by Joseph Fuehrich, worked as drawing teacher in Vienna, Sternberg and Iglau. His work "Bacchantin", dated 1890, situated in the Franzens-museum in Brno.
