This large and perfect portrait miniature of a lady with a red bonnet , mounted in a fine original frame, came from the renown miniature collection of Sigmund Mandl and it was illustrated in the important monography by E.Lemberger (in German) " Meisterminiaturen aus 5 Jahrhunderts", Stuttgart, 1911 . The miniature was executed by Fanny Romanini, Italian female miniaturist, listed in the different lexicons, worked together with her housband Antonio R. in Milan between 1822 and 1839. Her miniatures are extreme rare on the art market.

Condition: miniature is in very good condition, no cracks, splits or paintlosses, the condition of frame is overall good there is one crack upper middle. |
