Large portrait miniature on ivory executed ca 1830s by an anonym Austrian miniaturist,
Inscription: unsigned.
Technique: gouache on ivory. Original period wood frame with gilded bronze mount, setting in the frame.
Measurements: image w 3 1/2" x h 4 3/8 " (9 x 11 cm); framed w 6" x h 7" (15 x 17,5 cm)
Condition: in overall good condition. Colours fresh and unfaded; the painted surface with no cracks . A few minimal spots on the edges.
