A pair of masterfully antique allegorical paintings on porcelain : "Cybele, Goddess of nature and wild animals " and " Amphitrite, Goddess of Sea and wife of Poseidon" were created after original oil works by famous French artist Paul Baudry (1828 -1886). Our paintings were executed at the world-renown French porcelain manufacture Sevres by listed porcelain female artist Susanne Battaille , who worked at the Sevres manufacture in 1861-1866. The artist born in Versaille where studied by her father French historical painter Eugene Battaille (born 1818) and later trained as miniature artist by Mlle Durant. Susanne Battaille exhibited her porcelain and miniature works by Salon de Paris in 1861-1867.
