This masterfully dog portrait created in the first half of 19th century . Nevertheless that the painting is not signed, due to the style and motive shows all stylistic criteria of the works of famous Viennese biedermeier painter Friedrich von Amerling (1803 Vienna - 1887 Vienna). It´s known from the mongraphy by G.Probszt, many of artist´s works were not signed.
