A pair of baroque portraits was purchased from the noble Swiss estate and depicrting Austrian Empress Maria Theresia (1717 - 1780) and her husband Franz I Stephan (1708 - 1765) . Due to the quality , style and subject both portraits attribued to the hand of renown Swedish-Austrian royal court artist Martin van Maytens ( 1695 Stockholm - 1770 Vienna) and his studio. Luxuriousy gold-plated and hand-crafted frames were executed in 18th century also.
