A pair of still lifes with flowers, fruits and a glass with fishes was executed in 1876 and 1877 by good listed painter of dutch origin Leopold von (van) Stoll (b.1808). He was active in 1828 in Warsaw and Cracov and in 1830 - 1834 in St. Petersburg , where he was busy designing floral arrangements for the Botanic Gardens. In 1834 the artist came back to Austria to get popular acclaim for his wonderful paintings of flowers and fruits. Ermitage in St.Petersburg have a few his still life and flowers paintings in the collection ( Cataloque of Ermitage , 1901).
