Hungarian painter and graphic artist Sandor Josza was born in 1910 in Kolozsvar, studied under V.J.Vaszary. In the 1930s the painter emigrated to France and settled in Paris, where he studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts and regularly exhibited his works in the period of 1930-1946. He died in Barbizon in 1989.
